Penthouse Renovation. Seville, Spain

The stimulus behind this penthouse renovation was its potential for magnificent views overlooking the neighborhood’s many historic churches and convents toward the sunset skyline of the city of Seville.

All interior walls were thus removed and entire west façade was replaced with retractable glass doors which open onto two terraces.

Mobil wooden storage module separate living and sleeping spaces, allowing flexibility in the arrangement of the interior. Sliding translucent panels, an ivory hued polished concrete floor, white stuccoed walls and stainless steel kitchen comprise a simple, affordable material palette. Operable windows placed around a central courtyard allow cross ventilation and pleasant breezes to permeate the apartment during warmer months.
